Whiteholme and Low Luckens farms are located in North-East Cumbria close to the Scottish Borders and Hadrians Wall. In easy reach of the M6 motorway at Carlisle (junction 43) 30 minutes drive away.

The nearest town is the Market town of Brampton, on the A69 10 miles east of Carlisle.

Directions from Brampton - take the Longtown road out of Brampton (A6071). After 1 mile cross the traffic light bridge. One more mile, after Newtown, turn right at the signpost for Hetersgill and Roadhead. Straight across the cross-roads at Hethersgill.

Approximately 1 mile after Hethersgill, keep straight on (following the sign-post to Shankhill and Mallsburn) where the main road bears right.

After one and ahalf miles turn right at Shankhill school cross-roads (sign-posted to Mallsburn and Baileyhead). After half a mile turn left at the T-junction (signpost Roadhead) then immeadiately right (sign to Low Luckens)

Follow the tarmac lane for one and a quarter miles, keeping left, to the farm.

Directions from Longtown (9 miles), coming from the north, turn left at the Graham Arms. After 1 mile turn right opposite white bungalow. Follow road for about 6 miles to Shankhill School cross-roads. Go straight over, then follow directions as above.
