Lighting and Home Automation

Internal Lighting
Creative lighting is now increasingly popular and in some cases essential in today’s home.

It can dramatically transform a home by itself, giving a modern stylish contemporary look or can be used to enhance existing features. Types of lighting include:

Down Lighters (Mains and Low Voltage)

External Lighting
Maximise the use of external areas by day and night.
Up-lighting usually above or below plants is used to create soft atmospheric lighting.
Silhouette lighting is a subtle effect which can be used to highlight a particular area or plant.
Path or decking lighting fitted at ground level, can be used to create pools of light along a path or raised area improving safety and aesthetics.
Underwater lighting can be used to illuminate water features at night.
Moon lighting is achieved by using a high level gentle light in trees etc to simulate moon light filtering through trees and branches.

External flood lighting either Low Energy or Halogen automatically controlled via timers or sensors can be used for security as well as convenience, deterring intruders and providing a safe environment.

Home Automation
Home automation provides total individual control, switches and monitors all lights from a central position or locally, enables individual or multiple lights to be dimmed or programmed. Enables any combination of lighting etc internal or external to be controlled via a switch, hand held fob or mobile phone. External lights and garage doors can be activated at the touch of a button. Internal lights can be programmed for random intermittent operation. Full sound and video operation and integration can also be achieved. Any control is possible if planned correctly.
